celebrities from around the world, employ their fame to bring needed
attention -- and action -- to help alleviate the
suffering caused by the effects of war, disease, and social
injustice.

offers profiles of
Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie, Goodwill Ambassador for the UN High
Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and NBA star Dikembe Mutombu, Goodwill
Ambassador for the UN Development Programme.
The unit contains exercises in reading comprehension, a listening
passage with comprehension questions. In addition, the unit
